The Magisto team has taken to the city Barcelona to experience the hustle, bustle and excitement that is Mobile World Congress – an annual gathering of mobile industry-folk, executives, mobile operators, technology providers, vendors and content owners from all over the world.
In addition to spending time getting to know other mobile industry mavens and showcasing Magisto at the Israeli Pavilion and Qualcomm Ventures booths, we’re also excited to announce, from MWC, that we’ve partnered with global telecommunications company Deutshe Telekom in a deal that will enable millions of Europeans to share personal video memories in real-time.
Marc Sommer, Vice President Marketing for Europe at Deutsche Telekom said in a press release, “The power and speed of our LTE network is available to millions of our customers across Europe, but the promise of the network’s speed and ease of use is only fully realized with applications that enhance people’s lives and keeping families connected. Loyal to our ‘Life is For Sharing’ promise, we strive to give our customers new and exciting ways to share and engage with their friends and families. Magisto makes sharing life moments easy, fun and immediate, so we anticipate that our customers will eagerly create and share using Magisto.”
Magisto CEO Oren Boiman said, “Partnering with Deutshe Telekom AG has been a great experience. We were delighted to learn that ‘easy to partner’ is not an empty statement, and that a global operator can move at start-up speeds. Being able to provide T-Mobile users with a way to share videos over the most reliable network in Europe means enabling millions of meaningful interactions and the optimal experience for Magisto users.”
This afternoon, Oren gave a presentation on Innovation in User Creation at a session called Media Unplugged: The Opportunities of Mobile Video. During the rest of the convention, you can find Oren and other members of the Magisto team at the following locations:
